Bayonetta isn’t going to be released until at least mid-2009, but you can watch some gameplay footage in the clip above.  This game looks very similar to Devil May Cry, but that makes sense considering Hideki Kamiya has created them both.  Will Bayonetta raise the bar for the action genre?  Will the game be released on time with no bugs or gliches?  Does praying to Jesus help cure genital herpes?  Let’s hope the answer to all these questions is “yes.”
