It’s not a top 5 list and it’s about deadpan humour (although top gear pushes that a bit) so faulty towers and Monty python shouldn’t be on here, since they are very much in the world of the surreal and slapstick (Although very funny)

I’d agree about red Dwarf, but that can get a bit wearing sometimes. I’d also say the IT Crowd and Gavin And Stacy.

if you havent seen “fawlty towers” you should check it out. hands down best sitcom ever. john cleese had to quit from physical exhaustion.
