“Pssst. Guess how much I’m getting paid to stand here doing nothing?”

Ever since Terrence Howard was booted out of Iron Man 2, everyone has been scratching their heads. But now the reasons as to why are finally coming to light as spotlighted in this EW piece:

“Hollywood insiders believe the exit stems from Terrence Howard’s difficult behavior on the set of Iron Man. But those with intimate knowledge of the situation suggest a far more dramatic backstory:

Howard was the first actor signed to the film and, on top of that, was the highest-paid. That’s right: more than Gwyneth Paltrow. More than Jeff Bridges. More than Robert Downey Jr.

And once the project fully came together, it was too late to renegotiate his deal. It didn’t help that, according to one source, Favreau and his producers were ultimately unhappy with Howard’s performance, and spent a lot of time cutting and reshooting his scenes.”

Wait, he was the highest paid actor in the movie? He got more than Robert Downey Jr? I bet Robby was pissed. Terrence Howard was “the guy who was too much of a pussy to be War Machine” and Downey Jr. was “international playboy Tony Stark and badass superhero Iron Man” (those are the official character descriptions by the way), and he didn’t even do a good job on set? Screw that, I’d kick him out too. I’m sure Don Cheadle will be way less of a dick. Although he is an Oscar nominee as well, so you never know.

I remember being upset that they booted him because I hate when they change actors mid-trilogy, but now I’m really glad.

    What a jackass.

And I read an interview with him where he’s really particular about his girls, like…he refuses to date women who don’t wipe their ass with baby wipes.

I’m not kidding, either. It was a ELLE magazine interview.

T Howard’s always been a diva. I thought it was cool he was in Iron Man, but I was definately not surprised when he got chopped for the sequel.
