Superhero Polygon Pin-Up Art

In the new era of digital art, making pictures using entirely sharp edges is a style that’s best described as “polygon art.” It’s sort of like the reverse of pointillism, which uses a zillion tiny circles to make an image, and it’s a great style for the vector era we live in. Alright, I just made about half of that up, could you tell?

Anyway, artist Dorez Romain has taken his (her?) skills and made a series of these superhero prints featuring the ladies of DC. Yes, that’s a villain, Poison Ivy, above, but there’s also Zatana, Supergirl, Wonder Woman and Black Canary.

  1. Why has this website become a mountain of crap before you can get to any of the articles? 75% of the time I just close out of the window and move on with my day without even trying to read or see what it is I was venturing over here to see. Hell, especially on my phone, it’s f’ing nonsense. I used to love coming to this site, but the newest of all the crap adds just blacked out my entire screen for 2 minutes, just so what? I can see a couple paintings. Not worth it. I’d really get this fixed.
