Georges Seurat Goes DC
Insert a superhero into a classic painting is one thing, but putting in thirty of them is another. Rey Taira is the artist who decided that Georges Seurat’s famous “A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte” needed to be recast with superheroes, and he’s done a damn fine job of doing so.
Not only that, be he also did an alternate version of the same piece with all DC superVILLAINs instead. That can be seen below, and both pieces are on display at the Arch Nemesis gallery show at Hero Complex Gallery in Los Angeles.

Neat, but weird that they’d use Batman and Batwoman as analogous to Joker and Harley Quinn.
