Check Out This Pillar of Autumn LEGO Halo Spaceship That Cost $7,000 To Build

We must be on a dedication kick today because before we brought you a man who spent 9 years to make a homemade bat mobile. and right now there’s this ridiculously awesome Pillar of Autumn from HALO.  While this particulay model might not be to scale, it’s pretty massive measuring 7′ long, and weighing 200 pounds.  It took its creator Lee Jones 3.5 years to build. He estimates that all those Lego cost about $7,000.

It was shown at BrickWorld and BrickCon earlier this year, and you get a real sense of this thing’s size when you see the people milling about in the background.
